ITC Integrates TurboRater with Compass Driving Records
Insurance Technologies Corporation (ITC), a provider of marketing, rating and management software and services, announced today the integration of TurboRater, its comparative rating system, with Compass Driving Records to provide its users with access to motor vehicle reports (MVRs).

www.imvrs.com) to provide its users with access to motor vehicle reports (MVRs).
To get an MVR, the agent enters the name, date of birth and driver’s license number into TurboRater. TurboRater passes the information to Compass through the integration. Compass then accesses the driving record from the state’s database and sends it to TurboRater, where the agent reviews and accepts it. After the MVR is accepted, the information is then populated into the quote.
“Providing accurate rates to our agents is a top priority for us, and integrating with Compass helps us do that,” said AnMarie Bozick, CIC, comparative rating product manager at ITC. “By adding Compass to the list of MVR providers we integrate with, we are able to give more agents access to MVRs through the provider of their choice.”
Users will need an account with Compass to download MVRs for the insureds they are quoting. This feature is available for users in all 24 states where TurboRater is available: Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, Montana, New Mexico, Nevada, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin. TurboRater also integrates with MVR provider American Driving Records.
TurboRater is a browser-based comparative rater that is accessible from any Internet-connected computer. Independent insurance agents and brokers use it to automate the process of obtaining and compare insurance quotes from multiple companies.
